Dear Investor, My name is Brandon “Dutch”
Mendenhall. (My friends and most everyone calls me “Dutch”.
I grew up in Iowa & I'm a Mid-Western Boy by birth. To be honest with you, it was inner-city and completely different from the farms and corn-fields you might picture. My greatest challenge growing up was both my parents suffered from alcohol and other addiction problems that caused major turmoil in my life.
These were tough times, but I accepted life on its own terms. I immersed myself in baseball and sports to stay balanced and happy.
I started making it on my own at the age of sixteen after both my parents passed away. I was living by my wits and pure survival instincts. I did manage to get through high school and into college on both baseball and academic scholarships.
With the sports and academic scholarships, my life flourished at the University of Iowa. I graduated with a B.S. in Organizational Leadership and focused my Masters Degree on non-profit business effectiveness. (I also got the chance to play and coach lots of baseball!)
I went on to pursue my passion for coaching baseball at the University of San Francisco. I worked privately with up and coming talented players too. I loved playing the game
- and I had a talent for teaching and motivating younger players.
While I was actively coaching baseball, a personal tragedy struck me in the most painful way possible. One of my star students was killed and his Father committed suicide.
Believe me, I was shaken to my core. I walked away from baseball coaching and decided to take another direction in my life.
As a completely new start, I became the # 1 executive recruiter for a billion dollar company specializing in commercial banking. For there, I got deeply involved in real estate as an up-and-coming entrepreneur. I soon discovered my organizational and people skills translated into good money!
In the last four years, I've built several companies from scratch, and one especially exciting organization was an out-sourcing company where we ran coaching programs and personal development programs for other major seminar speakers and real estate gurus.
Back in 2008, I began working with Commercial Real Estate.
My entire business became focused on commercial real estate and we've experienced a tremendous amount of success in this arena over the last several years.
